First Time Awarded as Microsoft MVP in Enterprise Mobility for 2017

It’s been a week now since I received an email from the Microsoft MVP Award team informing me that I’ve been awarded with the Microsoft MVP award in Enterprise Mobility for 2017!

For those of you who do not know, what a Microsoft MVP is, here’s the official descritption:

Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals, or MVPs, are technology experts who passionately share their knowledge with the community. They are always on the “bleeding edge” and have an unstoppable urge to get their hands on new, exciting technologies. They have very deep knowledge of Microsoft products and services, while also being able to bring together diverse platforms, products and solutions, to solve real world problems. MVPs are driven by their passion, community spirit and their quest for knowledge. Above all and in addition to their amazing technical abilities, MVPs are always willing to help others – that’s what sets them apart.

I’m extremely proud and humbled with being given this award. As this nomination for me is still the highest award an IT-Pro can receive from Microsoft.

In 2014 I decided to start with this blog. Initially it was my intense to write about experiences from the field. The more I wrote the more people startet to write me mails and comments, asking for guides and more blog articles and so my blog started to grow. In addition to that I got the chance to speak more often at community events, which still makes me absolutely proud.

I would also like to take a moment and thank all of the other ITPro bloggers. The fact that so many people take time to help each other solve problems is a great thing.

I’d like to thank the guys with Microsoft considering and supporting my work, my family, the team around sepago, my buddies from GeekSprech and you guys for your support.

I’m looking forward to another great year full of community power and lots of fun.

Cheers

Captain / Alex
